Snow Leopards and Leopards are predators that are found high on the food chain, consuming herbivores which had consumed producers which uptake nutrients from the soil. If the soil in the Snow Leopards and Leopards territories are sufficient with all the essential vitamins and minerals the Snow Leopard and Leopard should not require any excess supplementation. Felidae also require the ten essential amino acids and taurine, taurine being specific to the felidae family (1).
